American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist with Level I Trauma and multi-specialty OR experience for a travel assignment at a hospital in Ohio.

Details

• Hospital OR setting with potential float to 2nd Floor Outpatient Operating Rooms
• Multi-specialty surgical environment including Orthopedics (Joints, Trauma, Sports Medicine) and Level I Trauma cases
• Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–9:30 PM (3x12-hour shifts per week)
• Call requirements include up to 10 call shifts per contract, with weeknight call from 7:00 PM–6:30 AM and 24-hour weekend call shifts on Saturday or Sunday
• Epic EMR used; experience is required

Requirements

• Several years of recent multi-specialty Operating Room experience required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• BLS required
• ACLS preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Prior travel experience preferred
• Da Vinci robotic surgery experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as the 2nd reference; co-worker references are not accepted

• Candidates must be comfortable working independently across a variety of surgical specialties in a fast-paced environment
• Local candidates are accepted
• Former employees of the facility are eligible for a travel assignment after being away for 6 months or more
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration and must be 7 days or fewer
• Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be completed promptly after accepting an offer; candidates outside Ohio but within driving distance will need to travel to an Ohio fingerprinting location, and those located farther away will receive a mailed fingerprinting packet to complete upon receipt
