American Traveler is seeking an experienced Certified CVORT Surgical Technologist with current cardiac scrub experience for a Level I Trauma Center hospital CVOR position in Manhasset, NY.

Details

• Large quaternary care facility with 750+ beds designated as a Level I Trauma Center
• CVOR unit requiring current, hands-on cardiac scrub experience
• Primary shift is 6:00 AM – 7:30 PM; alternative schedules such as 5 days/week 11 AM–7 PM or 4 days/week may be considered

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of overall surgical tech experience, with at least 1 year of CVORT experience
• Current cardiac scrub experience required
• NBSTSA or NCCT certification required
• BLS certification from the AHA required
• Active, unrestricted state license required if applicable
• Two professional references from previous managers rated 'standard or above average' within the prior year in the same discipline/specialty

Additional Information

• Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility may be considered at a reduced rate
• Only AHA-issued BLS certifications are accepted
• If any certifications are expiring during the assignment, documentation of renewal receipt or scheduled course dates will be needed
• Candidates who have previously worked at any facility within this health system may be subject to an eligibility review process prior to placement
• Timekeeping is managed through the Kronos platform
• Completed skills checklist will be required for consideration
