American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with a CA RTT license and 3+ years of Radiation Oncology experience for a hospital-based outpatient Radiation Oncology department.

Details

• Hospital-based Radiation Oncology department
• Monday through Friday day shift schedule with a 0700–0800 start time
• 5x8-hour shifts per week
• 13-week contract
• Uses Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator (experience preferred)
• Uses MOSAIQ for electronic medical records (experience preferred)

Requirements

• Active CA RTT license required if applicable
• Current ARRT certification required
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of Radiation Oncology experience
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Set up and align patients using various imaging techniques to deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments
• Assess patient status during direct patient interaction and make appropriate referrals to healthcare team members
• Prepare for treatment delivery including chart/film checks, room setup, calculations, MOSAIQ review, and treatment calendar programming
• Perform patient setup and CT simulation for radiation therapy treatment planning as needed
• Collaborate closely with fellow radiation therapists and interdisciplinary team members
