American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a pediatric cardiac cath lab at a Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated teaching hospital, with experience in pediatric cath procedures and on-call availability required.

Details

• Pediatric cardiac cath lab setting within a Level I Trauma Center, Magnet-designated academic teaching hospital
• 2-procedure room cath lab serving a pediatric patient population
• Cases include Pediatric/Adult Transplant R/L Biopsy, Balloon, Stent, and Valve Placement; IR experience (preferably pediatric) may also be required
• EP experience preferred; Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab experience preferred
• Epic EMR; experience preferred
• Day shift, 5x8 hours, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• On-call required: approximately 8–10 call shifts per month, including weekend coverage
• Radiation badge required for this role (must be provided by agency)

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant cath lab experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS required — AHA certifications only
• CCI with RCIS or RCES preferred; ARRT (R) with SCRQ SA (R) also acceptable
• SC license required if applicable; candidates with a pending SC license may be considered
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Former permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC facility must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• All RTO must be submitted at the time of consideration; approval is based on facility needs
• Orientation modules are completed prior to the start of the assignment
• This facility participates in emergency storm response teams; all employees and contractors are assigned to emergency response — hurricane season runs June through November, with peak activity in August and September
• Parking is free on weekdays; a one-time $20 parking pass fee applies for nights and weekend parking
