American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in San Antonio, TX, requiring 2+ years of Cath Lab experience and ARRT certification with Texas Medical Board licensure.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based Special Lab Procedures / Cardiac Cath Lab unit
• Procedures include heart catheterization, EP studies, and Interventional Radiology studies
• Biplane imaging suite operation required
• Documentation system: Meditech (experience preferred)
• Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Call coverage required, including nights and weekends
• Floating within the facility is required per Methodist floating policy

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of Cath Lab experience
• ARRT certification required
• Active Texas Medical Board license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
• Ability to operate biplane imaging suites
• Ability to take call nights and weekends
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Additional Information

• Meditech EMR experience is preferred
• Scrubs are brown or may be provided by the facility
• Hair must be kept covered with an OR cap; visible piercings other than ears are prohibited; body art should be covered when possible
• Nails must be clean and healthy
