American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with surgery and fluoroscopy experience for a day shift contract at a busy acute care facility in Slidell, LA.

Details

• Works in a busy acute care ED and surgery department
• Performs general X-ray, surgical imaging, and fluoroscopy procedures
• IR experience preferred (no cardiac cath experience required)
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 5x8-hour shift schedule

Requirements

• Current BLS, ARRT, and LSRT (Louisiana State Radiologic Technology license) required
• All certifications must be issued by AHA
• Minimum hands-on experience in surgical imaging and fluoroscopy required
• Acute care hospital experience required
• First-time travelers and new graduates will not be considered
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Requested time off must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
• In the event of an emergency or disaster, staff may be assigned to an emergency response team and expected to remain on-site or serve as part of a relief team until the event has passed
