American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with OR and Fluoroscopy experience for a night shift travel contract at a Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated acute care teaching hospital.

Details

• Works in a large acute care teaching hospital that is a Level I Trauma Center, Magnet-designated, and a certified stroke center
• Patient population spans all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Work settings include adult acute care, outpatient, bedside/portable, ER, ICU, Peds, PICU, and OR
• Procedures include fluoroscopy, abdominal imaging, full upper and lower extremity studies, head/chest imaging (chest AP, upper airway, facial bones, paranasal sinuses, skull), and spine/pelvis studies
• Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Thursday through Saturday
• On-call rotation shared with staff
• Must be available to work one holiday during the 13-week contract, in rotation with staff
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Current BLS and ARRT(R) certification required
• OR and Fluoroscopy experience required
• Experience with a broad range of imaging studies across abdomen, upper/lower extremities, head/chest, and spine/pelvis required
• Experience working in acute care, ER, ICU, OR, and pediatric settings required
• Virginia state license required if applicable; any active state license in hand is accepted, as Virginia may grant emergency authorization while a permanent VA license is processing
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
• Candidates must live outside the local radius to be eligible — locals are not accepted

• Perform diagnostic imaging across a wide range of anatomical areas and clinical settings, including portable/bedside, ER, ICU, OR, and outpatient
