American Traveler is hiring a travel CT Technologist for a day shift position in a hospital radiology/CT department, requiring 2+ years of CT experience and ARRT certification.

• Hospital-based CT Scan department within a radiology setting
• GE CT equipment in use
• Epic EMR
• 1:1 patient ratio
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• Call requirements as required by facility
• Float requirements as required by facility
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent CT experience required
• ARRT certification required
• Graduate of an AMA-approved program in Radiologic Technology; associate or baccalaureate degree preferred
• BLS certification preferred
• Radiation safety and MRI safety training for non-MRI personnel required
• Proficiency with GE CT equipment and Epic EMR
• License required if applicable — must be active and free of expirations within the first 30 days of assignment unless renewal documentation is provided
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs are not accepted
• No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Performs CT examinations under the supervision of the Radiology Leader, applying prescribed ionizing radiation with independent judgment and initiative
• Candidate should be compassionate and capable of working independently
• Black scrubs required
• Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced bill rate; local candidates are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before a 1-year separation or reassignment outside the 50-mile radius is required
