American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with multi-specialty OR experience, including Thoracic, Trauma, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics, for a hospital OR position in Virginia.

Details

• Hospital OR setting with 11 surgical suites averaging 25–35 cases per day
• Specialty case mix includes Ortho (total joints, sports & medicine, fractures), Neuro (spine and cranial procedures including craniotomies, tumor resections, and brain biopsies), Maxillofacial, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Colo-Rectal, General, GYN, Robotics, Urology, Podiatry, Thoracic, and Breast
• Day shift schedule: 7:00am–3:30pm, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
• On-call requirement of 5–6 call shifts per contract, including overnight and weekend call
• EMR: Epic
• Scrubs provided by the facility

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of OR Surgical Tech experience
• Experience in Thoracic, Trauma, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics required
• Familiarity with Stealth navigation system required
• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Active Virginia (VA) license required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform scrub technologist duties across a high-volume, multi-specialty OR environment
• Support a wide range of surgical procedures including cranial, spinal, robotic, and orthopedic cases
• Floor-specific orientation is 1 week in duration
• Holiday coverage is expected, including 1 major and 1 minor holiday
