American Traveler is hiring a Travel Mammography Technologist for a 13-week assignment at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring 2+ years of mammography experience and MQSA compliance.

Details

• Work in the Mammography department of a 450-bed Level II Trauma Center serving a large regional patient population
• Performs general mammography including screening and diagnostic imaging
• Patient population includes Level II Trauma Center and inpatient cases
• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8-hour day shifts)
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• 13-week contract
• Uses Epic EMR
• No float requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of mammography experience required
• Proficiency in screening and diagnostic mammography; must be MQSA compliant
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only; no certifications expiring within 30 days of start)
• ARRT certification required
• Virginia state license required if applicable
• US SSN required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform general mammography services including screening and diagnostic imaging in support of a Level II Trauma Center
• Caribbean Blue scrubs required; all attire must comply with Valley Health dress code policy
• Candidates must reside more than 65 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates will be considered
