American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist with pediatric OR experience for a night shift position at a major academic medical center in Baltimore, MD.

Details

• Pediatric OR setting within a large academic medical center (500+ bed facility)
• Full range of surgical services including cardiac, general, neuro, ortho, plastics, GYN, ENT, ophthalmology, and trauma
• Epic EMR used in a scrub role
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• Typical weekly schedule includes Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday shifts
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 4–5 years of surgical technologist experience
• Current pediatric OR experience required
• Completion of an accredited surgical technology program required; certification (CST) is not required
• Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ bed facility) required
• BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• 1 professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide scrub technologist support across a broad range of pediatric surgical specialties
• Orientation is held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month; candidates must be cleared by 5:00 PM the Thursday prior to their start date
• Local candidates are welcome and considered at the same rate as travel candidates
