American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at a freestanding emergency department imaging unit in Austin, TX, working Friday through Sunday night shifts with at least 1 year of recent CT experience required.

Details

• Freestanding emergency department (FSED) imaging unit in Austin, TX
• GE CT equipment used for imaging procedures
• Meditech EMR system
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
• Weekend availability required; no on-call requirements for CT

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in CT, with active experience within the last 6 months
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of start)
• Texas Medical Board (TMB) license required if applicable
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration — Canadian SSNs are not accepted
• One professional reference required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Position is based in a multi-modality imaging department offering CT, X-ray, MRI, Ultrasound, and Mammography services
• Technologists are required to wear olive green tops with black pants
• Candidates with 2 years of experience are given first consideration
