American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with experience in trauma CT procedures and stroke protocol imaging for a night shift contract position in California.

Details

• CT Scan unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Performs routine and specialized CT procedures including trauma imaging, stroke protocol, CTA Head, and Perfusion studies
• 4x10 hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday, 7:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• No on-call requirements; callback opportunities available on a volunteer basis

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Current BLS certification required
• CA CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) license required if applicable
• CA Fluoroscopy Certification required
• Experience performing CT procedures on trauma patients, including stroke protocol (CTA Head and Perfusion studies)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates

Additional Information

• Performs routine and specialized CT procedures, producing quality diagnostic images for physicians and other healthcare providers
• Works independently with sound clinical judgment to execute safe and precise procedures in a timely manner
• Responsible for patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only one holiday RTO request will be approved during the contract
• Two supervisor references obtained within the past year are required for consideration
