American Traveler is hiring an EP Lab Technologist with 3+ years of experience and proficiency in scrubbing EP cases, including LAAC and Leadless PPM procedures, for a 13-week travel assignment at an acute care hospital in Columbia, SC.

Details

• Work in an acute care hospital EP lab running 1 lab averaging 2-5 cases per day
• Procedures include EP ablations, LAAC procedures, Leadless PPM, and Micropace stimulation
• Charting performed in Epic
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM; shift length may vary as staff remain until procedures are complete
• No on-call, weekend, or floating requirements

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of EP Lab experience required
• Proficiency in scrubbing all EP cases, including LAAC procedures, Leadless PPM, and Micropace stim
• Experience with Cardiolab required
• Current BLS and ACLS (AHA only) required
• CCI RCIS or CCI RCES certification required
• SC RQSA license required; candidates with a pending license may be considered but must be fully licensed before starting
• Radiation badge required and must be provided by the candidate's agency prior to start
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are considered local; non-local candidates are prioritized
• Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Former permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC facility must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration; approval is based on facility needs
• Hospital-issued navy scrubs are provided for the EP Lab
• Orientation modules are completed prior to the assignment start date
• Parking is available at no cost; a parking pass is required and distributed at badge pickup — note that garage clearance is limited to average-sized SUVs and trucks
• Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak activity months are August and September
