Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a night shift travel assignment at a Level I Trauma acute care hospital, with experience in advanced cardiac and vascular CT imaging required.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting with a busy ED and Level I Trauma, Stroke, and Vascular programs
• CT unit performing advanced exams including Coronary CTA, TAVR, Cardiac, and Low Dose CT studies
• Patient populations include adult acute care, adult outpatient, ICU, and emergency department
• Night shift schedule: Sun–Tue, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
• One 12-hour on-call shift required per month
• May float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate facility based on operational needs
• Charting via Cerner (experience required)

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), and BLS (AHA or RQI accepted)
• Indiana state radiology license required if applicable; pending IN license accepted with an ETA of 2 weeks
• Experience in adult acute care, ICU, and emergency department settings
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR required
• 2 supervisor references required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• COVID-19 vaccination required

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates (Indiana residents) are accepted
• Must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto-approved
• Former permanent or PRN employees of IU Health must have a 12-month break before applying as a traveler
• Current or past IU Health travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within IU Health are required to take a consecutive break to reset eligibility: out-of-state residents require a 90-day break; in-state residents require a 180-day break
