American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for an OR Float position requiring experience in a high-capacity operating room and a 4x10 Day/Evening rotation.

Details

• Hospital-based OR Float unit assignment
• 13-week contract length
• 4x10 Day/Evening rotation schedule with the possibility of evenings becoming the primary shift based on skill alignment
• Evening shifts run 1p-11p
• Day shifts run 7a-5:30p Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and 9a-7:30p Wednesday
• Includes 2 weeks of night shifts during the contract
• At least 2 short call shifts required each 4-week schedule
• Weekend shifts scheduled as 12-hour shifts, with 8 or 10-hour shifts scheduled during that same week to meet contracted hours
• Uses Epic for charting
• Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping

Requirements

• NBSTSA or NCCT Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
• Experience in a high-capacity operating room required
• AHA-issued certifications only
• License required if applicable
• Active MA licensure required at time of consideration with no pending licenses accepted
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• 2 professional references required

Additional Information

• Local candidates permanently residing within 60 miles of the Boston facility are accepted at a reduced rate
• No validated parking available at Boston locations; public transportation or paid public parking lots required, with daily rates ranging from $17-$22
• RTO must be disclosed at the time of consideration
