American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with 2+ years of OR experience across various specialties for a hospital-based CST position.

Details

• Hospital operating room setting supporting scheduled and emergency surgical cases
• 4x10-hour shifts, days may vary based on facility need
• Shift hours from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call requirements include one weekday call per week and one weekend call per month within each 6-week schedule

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CST experience across various surgical specialties in an operating room setting
• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist certification required
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• High school diploma or equivalency required
• License required if applicable
• Strong communication skills required

Additional Information

• Responsible for planning and preparing for surgical procedures and assisting the surgeon
• Responsible for sterilization of surgical equipment and assembling scheduled and emergency case carts
• Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility
