American Traveler seeks a Surgical Technologist with strong Ortho experience for a Level 2 trauma hospital OR position on evening shift with call.

Details

• Work in an acute care hospital Operating Room (OR) unit at a Level 2 trauma facility
• Evening shift, 10-hour shifts from 1100-2130 with call from 2131-2300 after each shift
• 40 hours per week guaranteed outside of orientation
• 12 hours of non-billable orientation required
• EPIC EMR used in this position

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a busy surgical area required
• Strong Ortho experience required, including Total Joints and Fracture Tables
• Associate's Degree in Surgical Technology or successful completion of a Surgical Technology program required (on-the-job training or Surgical Technician certs not accepted)
• Proficient in most areas of surgery
• Travel experience required
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted
• Facility may call off or cancel shifts up to 48 hours per 13-week assignment with a 2-week notice
• Candidates must disclose any previous employment with this facility, and if previously employed, must have an end date at least 12 months prior to submission
