American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of acute or surgical experience for an evening shift position in a fast-paced, high-acuity Level III Trauma Center.

Details

• Radiology department with 5 diagnostic rooms, 2 fluoro rooms, 1 video swallow room, plus a clinic with 2 diagnostic rooms, 3 pain clinic rooms, and 1 dental room
• Average caseload of 15-20 patients per tech per day
• Patient population includes inpatient, outpatient, ED, and procedural cases across all age ranges with limited pediatrics
• Performs fluoro procedures including ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic procedures, and urology cases
• Performs OR procedures including ortho, general, and spine cases; comfort with O-arm preferred
• Uses GE, Fuji, and Del Medical X-ray equipment, McKesson PACS, GE 9900/Elite C-arms, and Medtronic O-arms
• Epic EMR used
• 8-hour evening shifts (5x8s) with start times between 12:00 PM and 3:30 PM, flexible by 1-1.5 hours depending on staffing
• Schedule cycle of Monday-Friday with every other weekend rotation, including one day off before and after the work weekend
• One on-call shift per week (1st call 6:30 AM-2:00 PM, 2nd call 2:00 PM-10:30 PM, 3rd call 10:30 PM-6:30 AM)
• No floating required outside of flexible start times

Requirements

• ARRT certification, active WI state license, and BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of acute or surgical radiology experience required
• Strong surgical/procedure skills along with general and portable X-ray experience
• Mid-to-high level hospital experience required
• Comfort with O-arm procedures preferred

• Facility is a Level III Trauma Center, Level III NICU, Magnet-designated hospital, and Primary Stroke Center with 636 beds
• Support includes a lead tech on 1st shift, on-site radiologist 24/7, RT coverage 24/7, and hospitalist/intensivist coverage 24/7
• Department staffing includes 14 techs on days, 7 on second shift, and 3 on third shift
• Orientation includes New Employee Orientation (NEO) plus 7 days of department-specific training
• One holiday coverage expected per 13-week contract
