American Traveler is hiring an EEG Technologist with 5+ years of neurodiagnostic experience, including SEEG and TCD study coverage, for a 13-week acute care assignment.

Details

• Acute care setting within the EEG (Electroencephalogram) department
• Performs standard and complex EEG recordings, including Long Term Monitoring (LTM), Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU), and intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring (IONM)
• Specialized focus on intracranial stereoelectroencephalography (SEEG) and Transcranial Doppler (TCD) studies
• Uses Epic EMR
• 12-hour day shifts, Sunday through Tuesday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 12 hours of orientation included

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Neurodiagnostic Technologist
• Current BLS certification required
• Registered EEG Technologist (R.EEGT.) certification via ABRET required
• Certified Long-Term Monitoring (CLTM) certification via ABRET required
• License required if applicable
• Experience assisting with electrode implantation and design for invasive recordings
• Skilled in cortical mapping in the OR setting
• Ability to recognize clinically significant electrographic patterns and provide critical results
